Brian Ginsler is a wealth management industry veteran. After completing his MBA at Harvard Business School, Ginsler achieved his Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner designations and held leadership roles in investment banking, wealth management/family office, investment management and alternative lending. He was the first advisor in Canada to achieve the Certificate in Blockchain & Digital Assets from the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals in New York. Ginsler started his career as an investment banker to financial institutions, including investment and wealth management firms. It turned out that he liked what they were doing more than what he was doing, so he joined one of Canada’s first real multi-family offices (like a personal CFO to wealthy families) and helped it become awarded as the top multi-family office in Canada. Ginsler then worked with the founders of Gluskin Sheff + Associates, where he managed client relationships and was ultimately appointed as one of the youngest public company COOs (Chief Operating Officers) in Canada. He was Managing Partner of BridgePoint Financial, Canada’s leading litigation finance firm and CEO & Chief Compliance Officer of its provincially registered and regulated Exempt Market Dealer, BridgePoint Securities. Just prior to starting Ginsler Wealth, he led the Client Wealth Management team at BloombergSen Investment Partners, one of the world’s leading equity investment managers. Ginsler currently advises a number of Canadian tech startups, including through MaRS, where he is a volunteer advisor to a number of their ventures. Ginsler volunteers with the Foundation Board of CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health), is a Board Member of The Harvard Business School Club of Toronto, and supports UJA as a member of its Bay Street Cabinet.
